"The Caribbean Epidemiology Centre (CAREC) has been involved in several health information related projects in its 21 member countries. One such project is the Caribbean AIDS Telecommunication and Information Network (CATIN) which was established with collaboration from the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1995.

The project has been piloted in three CAREC member countries. In view of technical cooperation, the success of this project is due in part to support and country contribution for the project. The presentation will provide a brief overview of the project and some factors vis a vis country contribution will be highlighted."
